A brand new, unique film school is opening in Edinburgh in 2026. Students will receive real filmmaking experience and a key feature film credit, by actually making a feature film.
Tuition, guidance, and support will be provided year round, but participants will be responsible for the creation and outcomes of the film. They will leave ready to be considered seriously by other film productions for key roles.
The Feature Film School will select directors, producers, cinematographers, production designers and post-producers with the aptitude for leadership and teamwork that successful filmmaking requires.
The course of study will reflect the full-time, demanding work of film production. Students will analyse, develop, and bring to life and award winning screenplay optioned and acquired by The Feature Film School.
Collaboration and equal responsibility for the vision are non-negotiable. Check your ego at the door!
Participants will need to be disciplined and committed, and selection will be rigorous. They will be required to show application and rigour in attendance and dealings with the team.
TFFS will provide the facilities, equipment, and support for participants to continue their filmmaking careers with the security and assurance that they have made a feature film.
Please contact us for more information on the application process and we will be happy to have an open and transparent discussion.
All levels of filmmaking education and experience are welcome to apply, including those with no experience.
